I was really tired before I went away. I recognized I wasn't functioning properly, and I did the best thing and I've had two weeks away. I went off in the caravan to the beach with Alfie, and I had a really, really lovely time, which has prompted me for this sales tip of the week to just to put it out there to all of you business owners, salespeople, people in general actually:
Don't forget to have your holidays.
I was talking to an associate of mine about the fact that they haven't had a holiday in a very long time and that with the way that business is going, they're not going to get a holiday until Christmas, and that’s just not good for you. You don't function properly. You're just on autopilot, and mistakes can happen that way.
So just do yourself a favour and get a lovely break.
